Towne Jewelers is privileged to be entering its 20th year of serving the Valley of the Sun.  The founder and owner Frances Gundersen Graduate Gemologist (GIA) is a third generation European jeweler/artisan.  She got her start in the jewelry industry in 1976 when her Father recognized her ability to select and match quality precious gems.  She was given the task of picking and matching the best diamonds and colored stones for beautiful pieces hand-made by her Father.  She quickly progressed to wax carvings and has been designing her own custom pieces for nearly three decades. 

She holds in high regard integrity and education and has imparted to her staff the same respect for these attributes.  Integrity is the foundation for each transaction.  At the root of the jewelry business we deal in gold and precious gems, that requires’ a level of trust and honesty between all those involved.  We are honored to have earned our clients confidence, and constantly strive to maintain that level of trust.  Accurate information is important in the jewelry industry hence education of our staff is a high priority.  We both encourage and fund our employees’ pursuit of the Accredited Jewelry Professional (A.J.P.) through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).  It is our desire that our clients know they made a well informed decision pertaining to a purchase or repair from a trusted provider.  It is our desire to earn your business.
